The VT8230 5G module supports receiving and sending SMS messages via 2G and 3G networks, as well as providing Ethernet connectivity over 5G. It ensures continuous communication by sending notifications over various channels like Ethernet, SMS, and SNMP.

One of its critical functions is providing network redundancy; if the LAN connection fails, the module automatically switches to 5G to maintain the Ethernet connection.

The VT8230 can be integrated into older Vutlan monitoring systems, including VT335i, VT825i, VT855i, and some earlier "t" versions, where the width of the modem is 54mm.
