VT530 Access sensor
Description
The VT530 Access Sensor is essential for access control and is designed to monitor the status of doors and windows (open or closed). It consists of two parts: a magnet and a sensor.
This plug-and-play sensor easily connects to any analog port of Vutlan monitoring devices.
The maximum amount of sensors can be extended using the VT408 / Sensor extension unit.
Use cases
This sensor is crucial in environments where constant access monitoring is required for safety, security, or automation purposes.
- Access Control: It monitors the status of doors and windows (open or closed), making it ideal for securing entry points in sensitive areas like server rooms, data centers, and restricted facilities.
- Intrusion Detection: It can detect unauthorized access attempts by monitoring the status of doors and windows, and alerting security systems when entry points are breached.
- Automation Systems: Integrated into automation systems, it can trigger actions such as locking doors, activating alarms, or adjusting environmental controls when doors or windows are opened or closed.
- Server Rack Access Control: It monitors whether server rack doors are open or closed, providing real-time status updates. This is critical for securing sensitive IT equipment and preventing unauthorized access to servers and networking hardware.

Add more analog sensors using VT408 extension unit.
Each VT408 extension unit connected to the Vutlan monitoring device via the CAN bus adds the ability to connect 8 analog sensors to the system.
Sensors connected to the unit are automatically displayed in the system.
Systems with analog ports:
To read data from analog sensors you will need Vutlan monitoring devices.
