VT591 Water Leak Sensor
Description
The VT591 Water leak sensor is designed to detect water leaks by measuring the resistance drop in the connected WLC Leak Detection Cable. This sensor requires a WLC Leak Detection Cable, which must be ordered separately and is available in a variety of lengths.
This plug-and-play sensor easily connects to any analog port of Vutlan monitoring devices.
The maximum amount of sensors can be extended using the VT408 / Sensor extension unit.
Required Components
WLC / Leak detection cable
WLC Cables with lengths of 3m, 6m, 10m, 15m, 25m are available for order. Product page...

Use cases
This sensor is essential for preventing water-related damage in mission-critical environments.
- Water Leak Detection: Detects water by detecting the drop in resistance in the connected WLC Water Leak Detection Cable.
- Flexible installation: the cable can even be laid on a metal floor! It cannot be used on a mesh floor, as short circuits are possible.

Add more analog sensors using VT408 extension unit.
Each VT408 extension unit connected to the Vutlan monitoring device via the CAN bus adds the ability to connect 8 analog sensors to the system.
Sensors connected to the unit are automatically displayed in the system.
Systems with analog ports:
To read data from analog sensors you will need Vutlan monitoring devices.
